We are looking for a dynamic, self motivated and performance oriented leader for the position of ‘Managing Director’ to take this bank to a greater height.

‘Managing Director’ shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and would be entrusted with the management of the whole of the affairs of the bank subject to the regulations or directions issued by the Reserve Bank from time to time. MD shall function under the overall general superintendence, direction and control of the Board of Directors.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualifications : Graduate, preferably with qualification in banking/co-operative banking such as CAIIB/Diploma in Banking & Finance / Diploma in Co-operative Business Management or equivalent qualification Or Chartered / Cost Accountant/ MBA (Finance) or Post Graduation in any discipline.

Age : Not below 45 years and not above 65 years

Experience : Should have at least ten years experience of handling various important portfolios at senior management level in the banking sector or non-banking finance companies engaged in lending & asset financing. Experience in co-operative banking preferred.

Languages known : Knowledge of Marathi, Hindi and English compulsory.

Other conditions:

• The person shall not
  • be engaged in any other business or vocation;
  • be a partner of any firm which carries on any trade, business or industry
  • have substantial interest in any company or firm as defined in Section 5(ne) read with section 56 of Banking Regulations Act, 1949
  • be a Director, Manager, Managing Agent , partner or proprietor of any trading commercial or industrial concern
  • be a Director of any company other than a company registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013;
  • be holding the position of a Member of Parliament or State Legislature or Municipal Corporation or other local bodies;
  • be of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;
  • be an undischarged insolvent;
  • be convicted by a criminal court of an offence involving moral turpitude
  • be a director of any other co-operative bank or a co-operative credit society
